Two accounts at the same bank — can't connect the second one

We get this in support and in the app. We’re publishing it here so people can vote and so the next person doesn’t have to write it again. No names, no account numbers.

Problem

I have two separate logins at the same bank (or my own account and someone else’s from home). I connect the first one — it works. Martia won’t accept the second one: the bank is already “taken”, or the second connection lands as a reconnection of the same bank and the history gets mixed up.

The workaround “select all accounts in one login” doesn’t work when the bank only shows accounts from that login.

Proposal

Two live connections to the same institution, without deleting the first one. Reconnecting the same account remains a reconnection; a new account at the same bank is a new connection.

We see it and it’s on the list. Today the rule is intentional: one live connection per bank, the rest in the same login.

We want to change this so that the second account isn’t an “N+1 generation” of the first. We’re not asking for screenshots with numbers — just the bank description and whether it’s your second login or someone else’s in the household is enough.
