Question from our Discord (anonymized):
I’m going to the USA, making dollar transactions. It would be nice to see a separate “USA expenses” view — how much I spent on the trip compared to what I saved.
Answer
We understand this problem exactly: a trip is when we “loosen” our assumptions, and then we don’t know by how much. A separate view per country doesn’t exist yet — it’s on the list, without a deadline.
What works today: transactions have a currency, a date, and (where the bank sends it) country information, so in the chat you can ask “how much did I spend between July 10 and 24” or “show expenses in dollars in July” and get a summary broken down by category. Another way: create your own “Holiday 2026” category and set a rule for the trip period — then you have it on your charts alongside other categories and can compare it with your previous trip.
If you use this workaround, write here what’s missing — that’s the best way to make sure the right view is immediately useful.
