Second person's account at the same bank is treated as a reconnection

We get this in support and in the app. We’re publishing it here so people can vote and so the next person doesn’t have to write it again. No names, no account numbers.

Problem

I connect someone else’s account from my household at the same bank where I have my own account (common case with the same neobank). Martia treats this as reconnecting my bank: either blocks it or mixes up the account identities.

This isn’t “I forgot to tick the second account in my login”. This is a second account belonging to someone else.

Proposal

Someone else’s account at the same bank shouldn’t overwrite mine. Either it comes in as a separate connection, or through a shared space — but not as a reconnect.

We see. Today the matching follows the bank, not the specific account, and with a shared neobank it’s easy to have a collision.

On the list separately from “I want two of my own logins at the same bank”. Don’t send account numbers — just write whether the second account belongs to someone else or is your second one.
